Tom Edwards, owner, has over 35 years of civil engineering design experience, having specialized in working with Native American Tribes across the country. Cross Timbers specializes in providing technical assistance to tribes with regard to their transportation programs.
Our staff experience is very broad and very in-depth. Starting a new company allowed us to hire staff with exactly the type of experience that we were looking for – transportation related experience working with Native American Tribes.

CTC has recently expanded our grant writing services. In the last 2 years, we have assisted several Tribes with the preparation of grant applications in transit, transportation safety, and emergency management. These grants have totaled around $1 million. With the success of these grants and the promise of funding opportunities with the BIL, we have hired additional personnel for research and grant writing expertise.
