Complete Streets are defined as streets designed and operated to enable safe use and support mobility for all users. The term “all users” explicitly includes people of all ages and abilities, regardless of whether they are travelling as drivers, pedestrians, bicyclists, or public transportation riders. During the webinar we will cover Complete Streets activities that have been undertaken to date by the FHWA including a Report to Congress on Complete Streets; a Transformational Document; and highlight a few FLH project examples which incorporate Complete Streets principles.
